Summer Session 1 for High School Students

Session 1 Design Studio (June 24 – July 5)

Course Title: Fashion Runway
Instructor: Raquel Kueffner
Description: We will start the course with figure drawings for fashion illustrations, with special attention to illustrative proportions and differences in fabrics and how fabrics drape on the body. We will create traditional fashion illustrations using ink and watercolor paints. We will learn the basics of machine sewing to then sew garments inspired by our illustrations.
