Being apart is not going to stop us from making pots! We are going to be working on the design of functional objects to create unique handmade pottery. Learn how to make functional hand-built cups, plates, and bowls that you’ll be able to love and use. Everything you need will be provided in a kit that you can use from the comfort of your home; all you need is a small table to work on and some pottery passion!

I’m planning on sculpting Kaneda’s motorcycle from AKIRA! You make it, and we’ll fire it. Let your imagination run wild in this sculpting class! Learn the fundamentals of 3-D sculpting and modeling for games. You’ll use free online software like Tinkercad and SculptGL to create basic environments and prop art. This introduction to world-building and sub-D sculpting will help you build a solid game art skillset.

PA4Y is an intergenerational performance art class with opportunities to engage with Penn State University students and the Pittsburgh-based Virtual Senior Academy. Inspired by historic events, we will interweave storytelling and sculpture to create art interventions that amplify student voice.

Q: What’s black and white and read all over? A: Your art! Join us in this traditional black and white film photography class as we learn to incorporate words and writing in the work you make. We’ll learn photography basics as we work with 35mm cameras and chemical film development. We’ll then use prompts, negative manipulation, and creative writing to pair these visuals with words. Apply your own style and thoughts as we experiment together!
